Since joining Smith & Gesteland, LLP in 1984, Keith has become a partner and Director of Assurance Services and Chairperson of the Nonprofit Services Group.
Keith's clients include not-for-profit, construction, financial institutions, and manufacturing entities.
Not-for-Profit
Keith presents reports on an ongoing basis to many of our not-for-profit client boards of directors and has served on not-for-profit boards in various capacities. Specific not-for-profit consulting engagements include internal control studies, preparation of accounting and financial procedures manuals, cost allocation studies, exempt organization tax issues, and exempt organization business tax issues.
Construction
Keith has considerable experience with construction contractors. His experience includes audit, taxation, calculating percentage of completion, consolidations, and costing.
Financial Institutions
Keith directs audits and examinations of financial institutions ranging from small community banks to bank holding companies with multiple subsidiaries. Keith has revised the design of comprehensive bank internal auditing programs and consults with financial institutions about their internal controls and reporting matters.
