David is a partner and member of Smith and Gesteland's Supply Chain Services Group. He works primarily with closely held businesses, family businesses, construction contractors and leasing companies.

He serves as an advisor to Smith & Gesteland, LLP staff on multi-state income taxation and financial statement disclosure issues.

Audits, Reviews and Compilations
David has a thorough knowledge of GAAP reporting for contractors, wholesale/distributors, leasing companies and real estate entities. His thorough understanding of his clients' businesses and accounting systems facilitates improved profitability through strategic planning, implementing tax-saving strategies, timely answers to inquiries, and prompt completion of engagements.

Tax Planning and Preparation
David helps clients to review their individual and business tax situations and minimize their overall tax liabilities by implementing various tax-saving strategies. He helps clients plan to select elections available to reduce or defer taxes and to avoid underpayment of tax and related penalties. By keeping up-to-date on the tax law changes, David keeps his clients advised on any changes that affect them.
