Since joining Smith & Gesteland, LLP in 1980, Randy has provided his clients with a broad range of business and tax services. His practice includes clients in wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, retail, service and non-profits. He has considerable experience in the areas of auditing, financing, consolidations, family business planning and costing. He has worked with many Madison bankers through the firm's lenders program. Prior to joining Smith & Gesteland and becoming a partner, Randy was with the international accounting firm of Touche Ross & Company for three years.
Randy's specific consulting experience includes operational audits, break-even, divisional profitability, customer profitability, and inventory shrinkage analyses; various costing applications; sale and acquisition assistance; strategic planning; organizational intervention; ownership transition; and restructuring.
