Mr.Bill Harvey, Chairman of Alliant Energy, will address the broad outlines of the policy objectives and policy choices, with specific focus on what the policy options mean for Wisconsin and the Capitol region. Bill Harvey, Chairman - Alliant Energy

Harvey joined WPL Holdings in 1986 as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Since that time, he has successfully held a variety of positions including General Counsel and head of Gas Operations and Senior Vice President in charge of power production, gas operations, legal affairs and administrative services. Upon the formation of Alliant Energy in 1998, he was elected Executive Vice President in charge of generation and President of WP&L. Prior to joining WPL Holdings, Harvey was in private legal practice in Madison, Wis. Harvey holds a B.A. in Economics and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Professor Jim Lorman, PhD

Mr. Harvey will be joined by Jim Lorman, Ph.D., Professor of Biology in the Natural Sciences Department at Edgewood College, and Academic Director of the College’s Graduate Certificate Program in Sustainability Leadership. He will discuss environmental policy and the impact of national policy on our region.
